چکیده
We present Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array [C ii] 158 μm line and underlying far-infrared (FIR) continuum emission observations (070 × 056 resolution) toward HSC J124353.93+010038.5 (J1243+0100) at z = 7.07, the only low-luminosity (M1450 > −25 mag) quasar currently known 7. The FIR is bright (1.52 mJy) resolved with a total luminosity of LFIR 3.5 1012 L⊙. spatially extended component responsible for ∼40% emission. area-integrated spectrum shows broad wing (FWHM 997 km s−1, L[C 1.2 109 L⊙), as well core 235 1.9 L⊙). This first detection galactic-scale quasar-driven outflow (atomic rate >447 M⊙ yr−1) estimated large mass-loading factor (e.g., ≳9 relative to ii]-based star formation rate) suggests that this will soon quench host. gas dynamics are governed by rotation, rotation curve suggestive compact bulge (∼3.3 1010 M⊙), although it not yet resolved. Finally, we found J1243+0100 has black hole mass–to–dynamical mass (and –to–bulge mass) ratio ∼0.4% (∼1%), consistent local value within uncertainties. Our results therefore suggest hole–host coevolution relation already in place ∼ 7 object.

The host galaxies of low luminosity quasars at high redshift
We present VLT/ISAAC near-infrared imaging of the host galaxies of 15 low luminosity quasars at 1 < z < 2. This work complements our studies to trace the cosmological evolution of the host galaxies of high luminosity quasars. The radioloud (RLQ) and radio-quiet (RQQ) quasars have similar distribution of redshift and luminosity, and together the high and low luminosity quasars cover a large rang...
متن کاملThe Black Hole Mass - Spheroid Luminosity relation
The differing Mbh-L relations presented in McLure & Dunlop, Marconi & Hunt and Erwin et al. have been investigated. A number of issues have been identified and addressed in each of these studies, including but not limited to: the removal of a dependency on the Hubble constant; a correction for dust attenuation in the bulges of disc galaxies; the identification of lenticular galaxies previously ...
متن کاملOn the Bolometric Quiescent Luminosity and Luminosity Swing of Black Hole Candidate and Neutron Star Low Mass X–ray Transients
Low mass X–ray transients hosting black hole candidates display on average a factor of ∼ 100 larger swing in the minimum (quiescent) to maximum (outburst) X–ray luminosity than neutron star systems, despite the fact that the swing in the mass inflow rate is likely in the same range. Advection dominated accretion flows, ADAFs, were proposed to interpret such a difference, because the advected en...
متن کاملReverberation Mapping of High-z, High-Luminosity Quasars
We present Reverberation Mapping results after monitoring a sample of 17 high-z, high-luminosity quasars for more than 10 years using photometric and spectroscopic capabilities. Continuum and line emission flux variability is observed in all quasars. Using cross-correlation analysis we successfully determine lags between the variations in the continuum and broad emission lines for several sourc...
متن کاملA Physical Model for the Luminosity Function of High-Redshift Quasars
We provide a simple theoretical model for the quasar luminosity function at high redshifts that naturally reproduces the statistical properties of the luminous SDSS quasar sample at redshifts z ∼ 4.3 and z & 5.7. Our model is based on the assumptions that quasar emission is triggered by galaxy mergers, and that the black hole mass is proportional to a power-law in the circular velocity of the h...
